9th Grade Physical Science
  • What we did:
    • ISN p. 101: Read pages 414-416 in your textbook and take notes on POWER.  Make a formula circle for the power formula, but BE CAREFUL how you fill it out – talk about it with a neighbor.  Create three example problems: one to solve for power, one to solve for work, and one to solve for time.  One of the example problems must include a unit conversion (i.e. SI units are not given in the problem).  You must include a scenario for each problem, not simply numbers and units – be creative and/or funny!  Ensure your notes are complete – I will not be giving printed notes on power.  You will probably need a flip page.
    • ISN p.100 - Choose an output activitythe you haven't done before to process your notes from p.101
    • Finish problems 6-11 on p.99
    • Glue in and do work and power assignment on p.98
  • Due today:Problems 1-5 p.99
  • Due soon:p.98-101 due tomorrow
